Claiming compensation is right,
if you’ve done nothing wrong

It’s only natural to be concerned about making a personal injury claim. But at Compo2go we’re clear. No matter what people might say, there’s nothing wrong with being compensated when you’ve suffered an injury through no fault of your own. Why should you suffer in silence?

Injuries hurt you in the pocket too

Many of the people we speak to are unable to work and are looking at a long recovery period. There are other people to think about too. Is it right that they may also be injured, because of someone else’s negligence?

Remember this isn’t personal

Of course it’s worrying to claim against someone you know, your employer, or a big organisation. But don’t forget you are not claiming against them, but their insurer. They probably want to settle the issue as quickly as you do to avoid a costly, drawn-out court case. And the law is on your side. Those responsible have a legal duty to try and avoid accidents. And it’s totally illegal to sack someone, simply because they make a compensation claim.

It’s easier to stand up for your rights than you think

With Compo2go you can claim in a reasonable, simple and civilised way. It’s not our style to get heavy. There’s often no need to get lawyers involved. Everyone probably wants to settle quickly, simply and cleanly out of court. So we use a simple, established process, to present your claim, get a quick decision and settle matters amicably for all concerned.

5 key ingredients for a valid claim

  1. The accident wasn’t your fault and you can identify who was responsible
  2. The accident took place in the last three years or you were under 18 at the time
  3. You’re clear about when, where, how and why the accident took place
  4. You have suffered one or more injuries, no matter how major or minor they might be
  5. Ideally you have witness, photographic, or written evidence of the accident and your injuries
